Default [FanArt]Return to Guild Wars : New Beginning

Hi folks !

After over a year of retirement, i'm back on Guild Wars to do it all anew with my GF and my best friend.

Enjoying the game more than ever (always played more or less alone or with strangers in PUGs), i decided to make a little serie of fanarts of our 3 characters.

First being, very self-servingly, my own, a necro.

Hope you'll like it !

Ooh, loving the textures and dark feel of the drawing. Can't wait to see more from you.

Really nice texture work!

It could do with some improvement to proportions and perspective though. His left arm is really oversized (intentional?) and the perspective foreshortening of his legs is off, making his right leg look shorter than his left leg.

Drawing human(oid) figures from memory is always difficult. I find it helps to use one of those wooden posing dolls for the initial sketch, just to get a better feel for the proportions and angles.

Really cool textures and whatnot! It has the GuildWarsy feel to me, since it feels like the same style that the concept artists for the game use! Awesome job!
